| Dear Region V: Due to the climate we are in surrounding COVID-19 and the travel restrictions many of our institutions are enforcing, the Region V Officers and Executive Committee members have made the decision to cancel our 2020 NCURA Region V Annual Meeting scheduled for April 26-29, 2020 in Fort Worth. We are deeply saddened by this decision, however, the safety and well-being of our presenters, attendees, sponsors, vendors and community is our top priority. Out of precaution, we have decided that this is the best course of action for everyone. Refunds for those that have paid for registration or who generously sponsored our meeting, are in the works. Our Treasurer, Roxanne Smith-Parks, will work with these individuals and institutions directly to ensure a seamless process. For our attendees that made hotel reservations, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. The Officers, Executive Committee, and I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding during this time. I would also like to thank the 2020 Program Committee for your commitment, time and effort spent on planning and coordinating the meeting. In addition, a big thank you to all of our presenters that graciously volunteered their time and expertise to the program. Thank you all for the role you play in our region and for the work that you all do in carrying out NCURA’s mission.
